My thesis was entitled Restless Attention. I addressed the symptoms, therapeutic options, and positive aspects of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD for short) during my research. My thesis was that a person who suffers from ADHD can have a positive effect on their life and may even be an advantage in some specialties. In my research, I used two methods, I studied the literature and interviewed some professional workers. I have explored, among others, the history of ADHD, its evolutionary background, and what neurological disorders can cause the confusion. With the help of my interviewees, I mapped out the therapeutic options and what specifically positive qualities the stakeholders may have. In conclusion, I finally came to the statement, that hyperactivity disorder can even be an advantage in some occupations and situations.
