Make Everything Better / Art and humor in politics
Make Everything Better / Art and humor in politics The Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party has become a significant actor in Hungarian politics, mainly from a group of street artists, looking for real solutions to the problems they raised. Them becoming a party can be seen as an artistic performance in itself, but it also gives the opportunity to reach a wider audience. Their image consistently preserves the simple and easily accessible visual features of street art. This way, by breaking the distant, elitist order of power, they represent common people, and create the opportunity for anyone to take part in the in democratic processes. The goal is to give the means to as many as possible, to activate, and to make people act together through involvement, in order to achieve long-term impact. And their distinctive humour becomes the means by which protest is created.
