Possibilities of building a residential community in a big city
My dissertation seeks to answer the question of how as a designer I can get involved in the process of urban residential community development. To provide a comprehensive analysis of this issue, I examined the different types of condominiums and their changes over the years. I examined the related object culture and looked for good examples from abroad. During the practical research, I prepared a questionnaire and an interview. As a result of my research, I found that although the life of residential communities is currently cold and full of bad experiences, after examining the environmental psychological aspects, the involvement of the designer in the formation and development of the urban community is relevant. Research has confirmed that a designer can help the community-building process by designing for a group with object-to-human attachment in mind.
masterwork
UNITI
My masterwork is an outdoor seating furniture for condominiums that is involved in the process of building an urban residential community. The purpose of multifunctional furniture is to create an object-person bond that can have a positive impact on the community as a whole. Furniture is part of a service that offers condominiums the opportunity to jointly define their needs and shape their environment. The UNITI collection is based on variability and personalization as a member of the community.
