Constructive bilinguality
Bilinguality of Slovakia and the Carpathian Basin is a complex question: it is a sensitive topic formed by historycal events. The region became a common scene of different cultures throughout the centuries. Its diversity can only be preserved by understanding and respecting each other’s culture, language and the law to use one’s mother tongue. It would be ideal to expect bilinguality from the ethnic majority moving to the minority-majority areas, not only from the indviduals belonging to the minorities. Limiting and enforcing communities to use the language of the majority result in losing culture, losing mother tongue and assimilation, destroying the values present in the Carpathian Basin.(KÉTNYELVŰSÉG a Kárpát-medencében, Kiadja a Széchenyi Társaság a Pszicholingva Nyelviskola közreműködésével, Budapest 1991, Göncz Lajos)

WE / A CARD-GAME DESIGNED FOR PRESERVING AND EXPANDING HUNGARIAN AND SLOVAK BILINGUAL CULTURE
A card-game designed for preserving and expanding the variability of the Slovakian (Hungarian and Slovak) bilingual culture. Game "MI" is aimed at creating an open-minded, accepting and constructive atmosphere based on mutual acceptance and proactivity. The names "mi" and "my" come from the personal pronoun: we. It refers to the philosophy of the game: We, both Hungarians and Slovaks are responsible for creating constructive relationships and coexistence. The two cultures appear combined on the logotype, topics of illustrations on the cards and on the digital part of the game.
