No kidding
I have recorded personal monologues, 'streams of thought', based on the nature of the personal diary as a self-confession and its emotional impact. This narration formed the basis of the film, which focuses on two main lines of thought; dealing with paralysing decision-making situations and the process of growing up. Everyday topics help to connect to the surreal world of the film, which is put together like a film montage.
Symbolic, action-oriented activities illustrate the process of how helplessness, through a decision, is transformed into confident action. During my self-analysis, I have found that these processes result in the development of self-confidence, healthy assertiveness and lead to a balance of different states of mind and personality traits.
In the film, three entities embody enervated, ambitious and self-confident states, which, rather than a linear development, are present simultaneously, just as in personality development the imprints of previous stages are also left behind.
The pre-study for my masterwork is a series of photographs with the same title, showing 3 selves in idyllic scenes, while doing physical work together. In spite of its difficulty, the activity is presented as movements similar to dance. I 'help' myself in a particular task by multiplying myself.
The characters are distinguished by their hairstyles. I treat this feminine attribute, which traditionally has many meanings, as an imprint of my mood in real life as well. I use this motif in the film, too. The tighter and tidier the hair is, the more determined the character is.
The title “Nincs mese” (No Excuse, No More Tales), in addition to quoting a phrase used in situations where there is no choice or no better solution, also refers to the end of childhood. The expression itself marks the beginning and the end of something, a point of change, and at the same time suggests positive acceptance. The moment to launch something.
In the film, I wanted to raise dilemmas that everyone experiences, that people feel alone with and that are often perceived as a sign of weakness when they are publicly addressed. My goal is to help the audience identify with the character in the film and thereby give them the relief of finding a fellow sufferer to develop their own self-confidence.

Journaling practices in fine art and in the context of social media
What is a diary? Our secret little book of our childhood, insight into the spiritual world of litterateurs, credible document from historic people's pen? In my thesis, I review the traditional and contemporary forms of diary, looking for an answer to what the diary is, what it has featured in the past and nowadays. After the history review, three diary types were distinguished by media; written, visual and mixed which can be further divided into text and image and audiovisual sub-types. Each category is presented through literary and fine art examples. The similarities and differences between social media posts and diary entries were collected to assess the regular Facebook entries and public blogs as a diary, if this could be a new generation of diary.
