masterwork
My thesis is an animated short film about the moment when the lives of two people who have never met before meet for a moment of a short encounter.
The film is a chamber play set on an old Ikarus bus, so the representation of everyday life plays a major role.

Gergely Oravecz: Blossza
My final year project is a hand-drawn animated short film, which captures the moment when two strangers meet for a glance of time. The film is a chamber piece which takes place on an old Ikarus bus so devoting great attention to everyday life has an important role in it. I was looking for an appropriate reference from the comic book world and I have chosen Blossza, created by Gergely Oravecz, to be the main focus of my dissertation. Oravecz used his piece as a journal and his stories were inspired by everyday life. In my paper I discussed autobiographical comic book artists who were also influential to Oravecz and besides the analysis of the comic strips I compared the volume’s online and offline distribution.
