Interference
The aim of my masterwork was to call attention to social changes which play a major role today, and affect the symptoms of burnout syndrome. In today’s achievement-oriented society the main goal is productivity, and to increase performance. The value of the human is measurable by the usefulness of the employee. From work, we expect first of all happiness and self-fulfilment. Moreover due to inner pressure, we optimize and improve ourselves into infinity. However we never will be perfect, we will always have faults and what seem to be superfluous activities or objects can themselves be beautiful. Especially in the case of stamps, erroneous specimens carry a particularly high value, and signify something which cannot be fixed, but instead originality and inner beauty. These appear to be useless objects which have lost their function, but are in reality useful for far more than simply mailing letters or to serve as notarial elements. As a cultural imprint they retain the values and events of a particular age. As part of my masterwork, I drew inspiration from print technology errors to create a set of stamps which reflects on the problems of perfectionism and utility. The Moiré phenomenon comes about when two lattice structures are overlaid, but rotated relative to each other or shifted to their own location. This will make the grid more dense in certain places, and will be less dense elsewhere. From a distance, our eyes will sense this as an unique pattern. It is similar to interference, a physical occurrence, when two waves intersect. In this case the waves amplify each other in certain spots, and cancel each other out in other places. Self-knowledge is quite important to realise that our experiences, skills and habits can make us stronger or weaker. This is how our virtues, abilities and faults are created. It is necessary to recognize that we will never be perfect. Perfectionism and the drive for perfection deprive us of the opportunity to meet the "other" and “the negative.” If, however, we experience this, we may develop it into a brand new quality.

Burnout and the Pandemic
Burnout syndrome is one of the new public diseases of our time, and its importance is indicated by the fact that burnout has been introduced as a new concept in the update of the WHO's International Classification of Diseases, as a phenomenon caused by inadequately treated workplace stress. (WHO, 2019) The aim of the dissertation is to present the economic and social changes that can enhance the feeling of burnout. One of the determinants of the environmental changes studied is the epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus strain. The dissertation addresses the difficulties of this situation and its impact on people. According to the first part of my hypothesis, restrictions had a negative effect on the feeling of burnout, and according to the second part, the increase in symptoms of burnout syndrome was more common in the generation Y than in generation X. My assumption is that the value system and work-related relationship of Generation Y is significantly different from previous generations, and this difference affects how they experience the situation.
