MOME TOWN
The content of my diploma project is the plan of a dormitory, community and workshop house in the area of Szépilona Remíz, where the building of the remiz itself would serve as the location of the necessary workshops, and the new buildings would fill the gaps in the current campus development.

Liminality and neoliberalism
The starting point of my dissertation is the personal experience caused by the housing difficulties that constantly arose during my university years. This crisis creates a liminal state that carries both infinite freedom and infinite vulnerability. This ambivalent, intermediate emotional state strongly determines the precariousness in the age of late capitalism. Life based on constant flexibility and unpredictability requires similar living spaces, which we can call a particular kind of non-places. This spatial organization rests on the unquestionable principles of neoliberalism and continually produces non-places, accompanied by the illusion of heterogeneity. Non-places are the physical equivalents of the permanently liminal state of mind. This becomes clear when we compare the typical architecture of late capitalism with the ideological principles given by neoliberalism.
