A tale about the white shadow
In my final project I deal with the concept of the white shadow in the Jungian model of personality. The white shadow is a part of our unconscious that contains our unacknowledged positive qualities. I chose the technique of knitting to create the objects, because of the therapeutic nature of the work process. The formal inspiration came from the archetypes that appear in the unconscious and are also present in fairy tales. I collected motifs that help the hero to achieve his goals, thereby symbolically expressing that the embodiment of my objects, the acceptance of our good qualities, and the embracing of ourselves, all help us to achieve our goals.

The activities of luxury fashion houses in support of the fine arts
My thesis aims to shed a light on the following questions: why the link between luxury fashion brands and artists have gotten stronger; what types of relationships exist between the two spheres; and how these relationships affect the customers and the art scene. Four different aspects of the collaboration are analysed in the paper, i.e., the role of art foundations, patronage, collaboration, and artistic mentorship, through which luxury fashion brands have started to play an important role in the art world. The partnership between luxury fashion brands and artists has resulted in the novel, experimental art pieces and contemporary collections. In the chapters I compare the work of Jonathan Anderson at the Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe with similar activites of other luxury brands.
