Trauma
World Mental Health Day campaign
As a master project I designed a campaign about the importance of mental health
through the stories of eight young adults, who talked about the traumas they have gone through, what mental illness they are living with, and what problems and prejudices they face day by day.
The master project consists of three parts: posters, a book and an application.
The reason I chose the topic was the lack of representation and communication of bad moods and
mental illnesses. My master project is a non-educational, non-canonised compilation, and is not intended for the professional community. It aims to describe social sensitisation, support and awareness, and some
possible options for seeking help.
I created the campaign for World Mental Health Day, October 10th.

The community-building power of the brand
User behaviour and brand communities
Brands have become a significant part of our everyday lives, as we use branded products or services hour by hour. Through the brand, we have the opportunity to express ourselves, belong to a certain group or set ourselves apart from a group. Brand communities are often organised around the brands themselves. These are based primarily on building identity among the member, and finding common interests with others, or any other personal reasons, such as emotional support or skills development. The dissertation seeks answers to the following two questions. First, how well brand communities can satisfy an individual’s need to belong to a community. Second, how important are the brands and brand communities in the life of an individual.
