In my thesis, I write about the connections and differences of approach between the seemingly very different nature of land art and cyborg art, and explore how it is possible to create in harmony with nature, with and without the use of digital technology. Through case studies, I compare the creative processes and motivations of the artists Andy Goldsworthy and Moon Ribas, and I am interested in how the artists arrive at their preferred medium and what role they intend to give to nature in their work.
