The future of urban farming, through design
In my thesis, I examine how the future of food production in the city can be created through interventions from different social strata of cities, connecting them. Looking for the answer to how design can foster change and strengthen the relationship of man and nature through production. I use different qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyse international and domestic best practices that reflect the community-building role of multilevel collaboration and design. As designers, we must strive to understand the needs of our users in order to provide an effective answer to a problem. I believe that an external force that drives, helps and educates communities is essential to urban crop production - design has that power.
