The dissertation explains the changes in attitudes behind the ring and provides insight from several disciplines into an interesting segment of our society. During the trial, he summarizes the concept of attitude and its changes in relation to the wedding ring. It analyzes the psychological and historical background of the subject and society from several directions, as well as provides insight into the evolution of our symbol system. By listing the important elements of the symbol reading belonging to the wedding ring, it becomes clear how we read in our objects and thus in each other.
