The main deficiency of the fire escape systems of public buildings is that in the case of a fire there is only a limited and insufficent number of tools at the residents' disposal. Fire Escape Smoke Hood for Public Buildings is designed to solve this problem. It protects the face and the breathing organs for 15 minutes against smoke and high temperature thus facilitating the fast evacuation of the building and reducing the risk of smoke poisoning.
