My thesis focuses on the topic of experimental typeface design. My research aims to explore how experimental typeface design emerged, how it diverged from technological development, and in what direction it has evolved. I present the current state and potential of the subject through graphic design and typography milestones, examples of graphic design, and interviews with contemporary typeface designers.
