My speculative and critical design project imagines a post-platform future beyond the monopolistic ecosystems of Apple and Google, questioning why children are born into surveillance capitalism and proposing an alternative where participation in these infrastructures is a later conscious choice.

My thesis investigates how surveillance capitalism produces a form of uncritical consent, in which we gradually surrender control over our personal data in exchange for convenience, despite being aware of the risks.
