My masterwork is a video installation that uses mythological symbols projected onto piles of stones, along with sound and poetry, to create a sensory impression of Persephone’s descent into the underworld and the spiritual transformation that accompanies it.

My thesis examines the myth of Persephone’s abduction and its depictions across art history through the lens of Jung’s theory of the collective unconscious, while also establishing a theoretical framework for my masterwork, a video installation.
