Masterwork

Reinterpreting the Almássy Square Community Center

My masterwork examines how a “semi-abandoned” urban building can be transformed into a vibrant, identity-forming space through the adaptive reuse of Almássy Square Community Centre by integrating cultural, community, and residential functions.
Thesis

The dual psychological impact and interpretation of abandoned buildings in urban space

My thesis examines how abandoned buildings evoke different psychological reactions and how these are connected to spatial use, the sense of safety, urbex culture, and the interpretation of urban identity and cultural heritage.
