Relay is an interactive sound installation in which participants orally translate a recording between Hungarian, Serbian, and English, with each spoken turn printed on thermal paper that documents the shifts introduced along the translation chain.
Thesis
Exploring personality and perception shifts in relation to language
Drawing on theoretical research, practice-based experiments, and interviews with twelve bilingual individuals, the thesis examines how personality and perception shift between languages, arguing that bilingualism is not simply a matter of translating between languages, but a process that reshapes perception and expression.
