I make Egyptian paste brooches and scenes with cute themes, jolting the viewer and wearer out of time, and offering a brief escape from the constant illusion of serious adult life.

Small animal figurines in ancient times and today - Animal figurines and cuteness
I analyse ancient Egyptian animal figurines and Egyptian paste animal figurines, then examine their common characteristics, their cuteness, and discuss what makes something cute and whether there are universal rules for cuteness. To summarise, I analyse William, the hippopotamus.
