Masterwork
In her eyes
I explore the tension between female and male perspectives through fashion design, blending digital and manual techniques. Using algorithmic culture and 3D printing, I craft narratives that challenge body objectification and express fluid identity.
Thesis
Algorithmic Culture and Fashion Design
My thesis explores the technological implications of algorithmic culture within the field of fashion design, focusing on the black box phenomenon and the untraceability of functions. Using an introspective methodology, I analyze how design decisions are shaped under algorithmic control through the application of the parametric software Grasshopper, highlighting how randomness within the program introduces a new layer of innovation challenges and redefines the dynamics of the creative process.
