My Anthropocene Garden

My master's project reimagines the aesthetics of traditional blue-dyeing to reflect on human traces in the Anthropocene through a screen-printed wall tapestry and a riso-printed booklet, with a 3D-printed cover that also functions as a printing block.

A historical overview of the role of Hungarian blue-dyed textiles and their elevation into the contemporary art scene

The thesis explores the changing social role of Hungarian blue-dyeing and the significance of figurative motifs. Based on these, it aims to identify ways of integrating the technique into the contemporary design scene.
