Creative project management in the film industry

The good producer is “oil, grease and glue”

As a motion picture creator, during my BA studies I found myself in the logistical and organizational field of the film industry. I started my career as a fashion photographer and cinematographer. I was involved in creating advertising materials for well-known domestic fashion brands and artists, such as Cako, Cukovy, Kiss Márk, Visage Models. For the past 3 years, during my studies at MOME MA, I have been working as a production manager/producer at Spreadfilms GmbH, one of Germany's largest advertising film production companies. We produce commercials for prominent international brands such as Volkswagen AG, BWT, Conrad Electronics, BMW. Thus, these works also make up my main project, which I describe based on my professional experience and lessons learned.
thesis

The impact of the indirect support system on the Hungarian audiovisual sector between 2004-2020

My thesis is based on the social and economic challenges of the film contract labour sector, with particular regard to the phenomenon of runaway productions – productions that "escape" from Hollywood for economic reasons to a third country, a phenomenon I observed during the filming of the movie Gran Turismo. The thesis focuses on the Hungarian tax rebate system, which has generated outstanding interest in the field of film production. My research is grounded in in-depth interviews with renowned experts involved in Hungarian motion picture production, as well as in literature on production history, which aids in a deeper understanding of the role of the Hungarian state.
