Adaptive shape-changing clothing accessories collection
My graduate collection is a group of adaptive shape-changing clothing accessories. The objects are made by minimal tailoring method with laser-cut perforations to create flexible structures, which makes it possible to size and shape transformation of the bagsin an adaptive wayby the elements inserted in them. The pieces of the collection are minimizing the amount of raw material used and tailoring waste during manufacturing. I present pattern systems and variations on leather materials of differentthicknessesandcharacter, through the scale and pattern variations of the several cut surfaces.

Planning for a lifetime
Sustainability is now considered essential. A critical analysis reveals that regulations, waste management systems and the recycling of materials have not yet been fully developed. If we look beyond industry stakeholders and consider users and the various generations, our textile waste, overproduction and overconsumption are placed in a whole new context. Different generations have different attitudes towards their objects, and towards how they keep them, manage them and pass them on. In my research, I explore how design tools can be used to take human habits, emotional factors and sustainability principles into consideration.
