It’s worth leaving the beaten path for the unknown

My portfolio focuses on dual career building, which I live as a dancer and manager. The title suggests that, in my experience, it is possible to work at the same level in two qualities without having to abandon the occupation that came first, in my case, performing arts. Saying goodbye to my past beliefs, a new identity has been confirmed by MOME and my professional experience presented.

Never get to heaven

Financing the independent contemporary dance scene in Hungary since the 1980s

In my thesis, I map out the sources of funding relevant specifically to the contemporary dance scene, which have been formed and have disappeared / survived over the past forty years, and then place them on a timeline. The purpose of my research is to give a glimpse at the periods discussed, besides the dry facts. I built my qualitative research on in-depth interviews, literature review and my own experiences.
