As a manager in the fashion industry

From employee to founder

My portfolio centers around fashion management. During my previous studies in fashion, I realized my passion lies in brand building and development rather than design. While starting the MA in Art and Design Management, I co-founded a loungewear brand where I took the role of brand manager. In my portfolio, I share my experiences and lessons learned from both my roles as an employee and founder.

Niche fashion brand building, its advantages and risks

Hungarian case studies from the loungewear sector

Exploring the benefits and risks of establishing and developing a niche fashion brand in today's economic climate, alongside the opportunities perceived by Hungarian designers, forms the core of my thesis. I delve into this specific segment of international and Hungarian fashion which is steadily gaining importance in comparison to fast and high-end fashion. My analysis is a case study, focusing on brands specializing in loungewear in Hungary. Grounded in semi-structured interviews with brand founders and relevant literature, my research aims to uncover the dynamics of this sector.
