MelodyMinds

My masterwork aims to design a tool that enables users to create sound and music without prior education or understanding, leveraging the principles of entertainment-education to boost motivation, engagement, and concentration. This innovation, a sound sensory board, is a fusion of a sensory board and a synthesizer designed specifically for children. The sound sensory board links various sound distortions to corresponding tactile stimuli, facilitating cognitive development. Intended for children aged 1.5 to 4 years, it accommodates one or two users simultaneously. The musical concept is focused to what children in this age group can comprehend, including rhythms, dynamics, tempo, pitch, and timbre, and is based on musical division.

Investigate the innovative approaches to music education in Hungary and musical toys which aid children in gaining a deeper understanding of music

Early experiences with music can either inspire or discourage a lifetime love of music, so it's important to make the most of these moments. In Hungary, issues including extravagant expenses, an unbalanced ratio of instructional time to content, and antiquated techniques frequently stifle young people's passion for music. Key ideas like innovation, the flow experience, and self-regulated motivation are highlighted in my research, which combines literature studies and interviews, as being essential for raising student involvement in music education. This study examines contemporary developments, such as instruments and musical toys, to promote children's appreciation of music while also delving into Hungary's music education system, including the Kodály concept. I'm especially curious about whether there are any useful resources for fostering a child's love of music.
