The border between authorship and practicality
I mainly work with fine art in my portfolio. I have worked from the bottom up, progressing from volunteer assistant to individual curatorial work. The curator’s job is by no means limited to intellectual work – it sometimes involves the precise planning of the exhibition and the installation. Looking after the text is just as important as organising it. Initially, I was perhaps less conscious of the path I was taking, but now I am clearly moving towards being a freelance manager, and since the beginning of the year I have been working with multimedia artist Márton Vincze.

Preservation or memory?
The forgotten modernism of Miskolc
Miskolc is no longer a steel town. While the values that Socialism produced can certainly not be cast aside, there was and still is another Miskolc in its heritage, one that shows the bourgeois face of the city, one that goes against the stereotype of a working-class town. In my thesis, I examine the emergence of early modernism in Miskolc and what a city can do in the present to preserve its undeservedly forgotten values.
