The thesis discusses the possibilities of preserving and presenting photographs in media formats other than social media, based on the author's personal experience and through a case study of Eszter Bíró's works. The thesis also reviews the history of photography and the tradition of preserving photographs, examining the specificities of the analogue, digital, and social media eras.
