Theoretical and practical issues of participatory planning through the example of Teleki Square and Mátyás Square
The hypothesis of my thesis is that a well-functioning public space can be created with the methodology of participatory planning. I explore the issues and potential of the methodology of participatory planning through the example of Teleki Square and Mátyás Square, two public spaces in the Magdolna Quarter. I analyse and interpret their rehabilitation with a complex approach and describe the historical and conceptual context and an interpretation framework that may be useful to apply in urban planning issues.
