The short introduction to the thesis provides a contemporary description of Szigliget, its location, and local history. The second part focuses on the work of the featured artists, namely Sándor Altorjai and Miklós Erdély. Much of the content is devoted to Szigliget's former Altorjai House and the active creative work the artists did there, as well as personal stories and the works of art that still remain in the house.
