Exploring Creative Ambitions in the Animated Film Four Souls of Coyote
The present thesis examines the creative ambitions of Áron Gauder in his film Four Souls of Coyote (Kojot négy lelke). It examines the director's connection with the Native American culture of the Plains, and in doing so, he also touches on Hungarian historical traditionalist societies. This theme also extends to the protection of the environment and our proximity to nature. My thesis discusses the current situation of Plains Indians and also allows a glimpse behind the scenes of the filmmaking process.
