Halls of residence as a second home
Analysing students’ relationships to their environment in halls
My research primarily aims to study how our immediate physical environment affects us, what the feeling of home means, and how moving into halls of residence affects the social and personal character development of young people. My thesis examines the characteristic setup of Hungarian halls in light of the tenets of environmental psychology. I aim to use what I have learned to compile a handbook of design principles, to be used for my graduation project.
