A possible interpretation of personal knowledge

Mihály Polányi elaborates on the concepts of tacit knowledge and personal knowledge in his book on social and science theory titled Personal Knowledge: Towards a Post-Critical Philosophy (in Hungarian: Személyes tudás. Úton egy posztkritikai filozófiához). The two unique concepts contradict the positivist conception of knowledge and the notion of absolute objectivity. This thesis aims to provide an interpretation of the quality of the knowledge we possess based on these two concepts, and then proceed to a practical, subjective, and phenomenological interpretation of the concepts and their legitimacy.
