My thesis examines the exhibition spaces and exhibitions of art and design universities, with a focus on the needs and interests of students, specifically the community of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and its renovated campus in Zugliget. Through the example of three domestic and two foreign universities, my research uncovers the unique position of the internal and external exhibition spaces and galleries of universities within the art institutional system. My aim with the exploration of this topic is to contribute to a process that can catalyse the emergence of a higher number of more diverse, clearer, and more accessible exhibition opportunities for the university community.
