Small Mill of Kál
"With my masterwork, I aim to draw attention to the contradictory and ecologically complex situation that exists between the phenomenon of booming gastro-tourism in the Káli Basin and the opportunities of local farmers. The location of my masterwork is Kisörspuszta, which exists as a kind of underground enclave due to the sand quarry surrounding the village, and it does not fit into the touristic trends of the past decade. However, the landscape scar created by the quarry has not only resulted in a habitat loss in the area. The extensive groundwater extraction by the enormous quarry ponds has exacerbated the drying up of the surrounding grazing lands. To prevent this, my masterwork proposes landscape restoration measures that aim to facilitate the revival of grazing livestock farming in the area. I placed the architectural focus on the rehabilitation of the mining buildings located at the entrance of the village. The operation of the Meat Processing and Culinary School provides a practical solution for connecting local farmers with sustainable gastronomic tourism, all within a regenerative ecological system."

Newcomer Land
My thesis examines the processes of cultural and socio-economic change that have taken place in the Káli Basin (Káli-medence) over the past fifty years, with a particular focus on Kisörspuszta. The gentrifying area has been influenced by the activities of various social groups that have moved in during different periods, especially the intellectual class that migrated from the capital in the 1970s. They have become vulnerable due to mass tourism. Among the eight settlements in the valley, the newcomers initially settled in Kisörspuszta, next to Salföld. It was isolated by a sand quarry, thus becoming a unique focal point within the valley.
