MO[ME]TAMORPHOSIS - Designer outreach and self-management

Curiosity, a thirst for knowledge, variety, and breaking through barriers: these driving forces inspired the conscious development of my professional portfolio through the years. My main project, which proved to be one of the biggest challenges of my professional career, was the creation and educational accreditation of a sport and design themed course for designers, developed in conjunction with a market player. With my side projects I aimed to display professional variety, therefore I worked in the music industry (organising a music festival), in the film industry (hosting an international documentary film festival), and in fine arts (exhibition management and art management), thereby shaping my personal and professional identities.

Examining the harmonisation of sport and design in the art and sport sectors

My thesis examines the harmonisation of sport and design in four focus areas: education, business, innovation, and art. My research is centred on a design and sport themed participative course jointly offered by Gravity Boulder Bar and Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, as well as 25 in-depth professional interviews I conducted discussing phenomena that affect industry connections, interdisciplinary and design thinking, personal and design identities, and the entire sport and design ecosystem as a whole.
