Observing the History, Evolution, and Future of Internet Browser and Search Engine Company Logos
In my thesis, I analyse current design trends by examining the transformations of digitally-focused company logos over time. As the internet evolved and user behaviour changed, brands had to reshape their logos to remain relevant. Technology companies have adapted their logos to meet the demands of the digital age, embracing simple and responsive design, maintaining brand consistency, and utilising logos as symbols. The complex and intricate logos of the past have disappeared, making way for minimalist logos that are easily recognisable on various digital platforms. As the Internet continues to evolve, technology companies will undoubtedly face new challenges in order to keep their logos relevant and adapt to the constantly changing online landscape.
