My thesis showcases the changes brought about by the world of new media in fan culture, as well as the relationship between producers and consumers. It examines how the significance and development of representation change as a result of these transformations. In this context, I delve deeper into mapping the fandom culture and explore its defining phenomena, using the Spider-Man franchise to present my findings.
