In my thesis, I examine the role and applications of 3D modelling in the field of fashion design. The main question of my thesis is whether digital technologies can assist artists in the creative work or, to the contrary, they tend to impede and distort free thinking and creativity. My main objective is to introduce these technologies and outline the benefits and shortcomings of digitalisation, especially as it relates to fashion design.
