In my thesis, I examine what it means for me to have an 'Érdian' identity, and what it might mean for Érd residents in general. Through my research encompassing personal interviews and the analysis of online social media content, I explore the factors influencing identity, uncovering the role of Érd within the Budapest metropolitan area based on the perceptions of its residents.
