My thesis focuses on the adaptability of additive manufacturing technologies in the jewellery industry and presents new technological solutions. My focus is not on industrial operations, but rather on the practical applications available to individual designers or goldsmiths. I examine the advantages of small-scale and artisanal technologies available in comparison to traditional production methods, and I also anticipate the possible challenges of designing in the digital realm.
