The aim of my thesis is to explore the history of rings from ancient times to the present day, with a particular focus on how ring wearing habits have evolved in the modern era. By doing so, I provides a comprehensive overview of the cultural, social, and historical significance of rings. A further aim of the thesis is to contribute to the understanding of the complex and evolving relationship between modern society and rings. By examining the history and cultural significance of rings, as well as investigating current trends and practices in ring-wearing, the thesis provides insight into how rings shape and reflect the social and cultural values of our society.
