In my thesis, I attempt to introduce the symbolic systems of various religions. Based on the systems studied, I examine how we may construct a personal system of symbols. I conclude that we will succeed if the resulting visual world and symbolic system are understandable to others, evoking a feeling of familiarity, thereby making the object comprehensible and even likable.
