Public and private - Cooperation of public institutions and private collections during the 2000s

After the regime change in Hungary, there is a great reduction of state funds public institutions can spend on building their fine art collections. Thus, public collections are less and less able to keep up with the growth of private collections. The survival strategy of the public institutions may be to be able to effectively open to the private sector.
