The effect of Millennial (Generation Y) consumer behaviour on the Hungarian contemporary art marke
The appearance of Millennials introduced new consumer and collector behaviours to the international contemporary art market. Transforming the art world significantly, these require market players to develop new communication and sales strategies, as well as technological solutions. My research examines the effect the young generation’s consumer habits have on the Hungarian contemporary art market in the light of international trends.

Art as business. How I found my place in the field of contemporary art
During my internships, I participated in art projects through which I have familiarised myself with the institutional system of Hungarian contemporary fine art and with the gallery scene of Budapest. My portfolio revolves around a certain path finding and attitude shift that I experienced when, after being involved with non-profit projects (a gallery festival and contemporary art exhibitions) as assistant, I started to work at a for-profit contemporary gallery. I have found my place where I can apply management and business principles in the field of contemporary art.
